Gauri is very fond of history and likes to visit places of historical importance. She suddenly starts going into trances and a series of unexpected occurrences take place that lead Gauri and Prakash into the past. The past reveals that they both were once Gauri, a village belle and Gangadhar, a learned sage who fall in love with each other. Their love was forbidden and remains unfulfilled due to a strange twist of fate. Will Prakash be able to bring his Gauri back from the shadows of the past? Will they be able to fulfil their love, a love so pure and intense?
